Terms of Use

1. Introduction

Welcome to Safe IPTV Player (the “App”), provided by Bright Code AB, a Private Limited Company organized under the laws of Sweden (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) constitute a legal agreement between you (“you,” “your,” or “user”) and Bright Code AB, governing your access to and use of the App, whether through a mobile device, tablet, smart TV, or other platforms where the App is made available, including the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

By downloading, installing, subscribing to, or otherwise using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the App.

PLEASE NOTE: The App is an IPTV player only. It does not contain or provide any media content, channels, playlists, or streaming media. You are solely responsible for the content you choose to access through the App.

2. Eligibility

By using the App, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater.
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract with us.
  • You are not prohibited from using the App under any applicable laws or regulations.
  • You will use the App only for lawful purposes, in accordance with these Terms.

If you are accessing or using the App on behalf of a company, organization, or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms, and “you” and “your” in these Terms will refer to that entity.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App if we reasonably believe any user is ineligible or is using the App in violation of these Terms.

 

3. Subscription and Payment Terms

The App is offered on a subscription basis, with available plans including monthly and yearly options (“Subscription”). The specific pricing and billing cycle applicable to your Subscription will be disclosed prior to your purchase and may vary by region and platform.

3.1 Billing and Payment

Subscriptions are managed and billed through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store or other app platform, depending on the platform used for purchase. Your payment method on file with the relevant platform will be charged automatically at the beginning of each billing cycle unless you cancel your Subscription in accordance with their procedures.

We do not handle payment information directly. All payments are subject to the terms, conditions, and privacy policies of the respective platform.

3.2 Auto-Renewal

All Subscriptions are set to automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled within the renewal date started on the platform where you bought the subscription (usually 24 hours before the new renewal date). You can manage or cancel your Subscription at any time through your Apple or Google account settings.

3.3 Free Trials

We may offer free trials for a short period for you to try out the app. At the end of the trial period, you will be informed that it is over and promoted to get a paid plan.

3.4 Refunds

Refunds for Subscriptions are subject to the policies of the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. We are unable to issue refunds directly. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact Apple or Google support.

3.5 Changes to Pricing

We reserve the right to change our Subscription pricing or features at any time. Any price changes will be communicated to you in advance and, if required by law, will take effect only with your consent.

3.6 Subscriptions on different devices

Your Subscription is tied to your device or platform account. To use the App on multiple devices, separate subscriptions may be required, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

 

4. License to Use the App

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on a compatible device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

4.1 Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Copy, modify, adapt, translate, or reverse engineer any part of the App;
  • Distribute, rent, lease, sublicense, sell, or otherwise transfer the App to any third party;
  • Use the App in any way that infringes, misappropriates, or violates the rights of any third party, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, or privacy rights;
  • Access or use the App in order to develop a competing product or service;
  • Use the App to access or stream any content that you do not have the legal right to view;
  • Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices contained in the App.

4.2 Ownership

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App (including all updates, enhancements, and modifications) and all associated intellectual property rights are and shall remain the exclusive property of Bright Code AB or its licensors. The App is licensed, not sold, to you.

No rights are granted to you except as expressly set forth in these Terms.

 

5. User Obligations and Prohibited Conduct

By using the App, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are solely responsible for your conduct and for ensuring that your use of the App complies with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

5.1 User Responsibilities

You agree that:

  • You will only use the App to play media content that you are legally authorized to access.
  • You are fully responsible for verifying the legality of any IPTV sources, playlists, or media URLs you load into the App.
  • You will maintain the security and confidentiality of any login credentials or user data associated with your use of the App.

5.2 Prohibited Conduct

You may not, and you agree not to assist, encourage, or enable others to:

  • Use the App to access, stream, or share unauthorized, pirated, or copyrighted content without the legal right to do so.
  • Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security features of the App or features that prevent or restrict use or copying of any content.
  • Use the App in a way that infringes or violates the rights of others, including intellectual property, privacy, or contractual rights.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App or its servers, or any systems or networks connected to the App.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App or the data contained therein.
  • Use any automated systems (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the App.

Violation of these obligations may result in the suspension or termination of your access to the App, and may expose you to civil or criminal liability.

 

6. Content and Intellectual Property

The App is a media player only and does not host, provide, distribute, or endorse any media content, channels, or playlists. It is designed to allow users to play content from their own legally obtained sources.

6.1 User Responsibility for Content

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for the content you access or stream using the App.
  • We do not provide, endorse, or verify the legality of any third-party IPTV sources, playlists, or URLs that you choose to use with the App.
  • Use of the App with unauthorized, pirated, or unlicensed content is strictly prohibited and may violate copyright laws in your jurisdiction.

6.2 Intellectual Property Rights

All software, design, graphics, text, logos, trademarks, and other elements of the App (“App Content”) are the property of Bright Code AB or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property and other laws.

Except as expressly authorized in these Terms, you may not:

  • Copy, modify, reproduce, republish, upload, transmit, or distribute any part of the App or App Content;
  • Use any of our trademarks or logos without our prior written consent.

Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to use any of our intellectual property, except as expressly permitted in Section 4 (License to Use the App).

 

7. Third-Party Services and Links

The App may allow integration with, or contain links to, third-party websites, services, applications, or content that are not owned or controlled by Bright Code AB.

7.1 Disclaimer of Responsibility

We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, policies, or practices of any third-party services you may access through the App. This includes any IPTV playlists, media streams, or external sources that users choose to load or interact with via the App.

Accessing third-party content is at your own risk, and you agree that:

  • We do not endorse or assume any responsibility for third-party content or services;
  • Your use of third-party services is governed solely by their own terms and policies
  • We are not liable for any loss or damage caused by your interaction with such third partie

7.2 User Responsibility

It is your responsibility to:

  • Ensure any third-party content accessed through the App is legal and authorized in your jurisdiction
  • Review and comply with the applicable terms of any third-party service you access.

 

8. Account Management

The App does not require users to create or register an account. We do not collect or store usernames, email addresses, or passwords. Access and subscriptions are managed solely through your device’s connection to the Apple App Store, Google Play Store or similar app store, linked via your device ID or store account. All the streaming lists, m3u-links, ans Xtreamcodes are stored locally on your device.

8.1 Subscription Access

Your access to premium features is determined by your active subscription status through the applicable app store. The App checks this status using your device’s secure connection to the app store — no personal credentials or login process is handled within the App itself.

8.2 Use of IMDb API

The App integrates with the IMDb API to display metadata such as titles, descriptions, and cover art for media files or streams you load. You acknowledge that:

  • We do not verify the accuracy or availability of IMDb data;
  • Your use of IMDb content through the App is subject to IMDb’s own terms and policies.

8.3 Termination of Access

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the App or its features (including IMDb integration) if we detect misuse, tampering, or violation of these Terms. Subscription access may also be revoked if your payment method fails or your subscription is canceled through the app store.

 

9. Termination of Access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App, or to any features or services provided through it, at our sole discretion, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that you:

Have violated these Terms:

  • Are using the App in a manner that may cause legal liability or disrupt others’ use of the service;
  • Are accessing or distributing content through the App that is illegal, infringing, or harmful;
  • Have attempted to interfere with the security, integrity, or functionality of the App.

9.1 Effect of Termination

If your access is terminated:

  • You may lose access to certain features of the App, including any metadata or playback history stored locally on your device;
  • Your subscription, managed through the App Store or Google Play, may continue unless you cancel it directly through the relevant platform;
  • Any ongoing rights granted to you under the license in Section 4 will immediately cease.

9.2 Voluntary Termination

You may uninstall the App at any time. Uninstalling the App does not cancel your subscription. Cancel subscriptions through your app store account settings.

 

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including, without limitation, any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and availability.

10.1 No Guarantee of Functionality

We do not warrant that:

  • The App will function without interruption, delays, or errors;
  • Any metadata provided via third-party APIs (such as IMDb) will be accurate or up to date;
  • The App will be compatible with all devices, operating systems, or IPTV formats;
  • The content you access through the App is legal, secure, or appropriate in your jurisdiction.

10.2 User Responsibility

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You use the App and any content accessed through it at your sole risk;You are solely responsible for ensuring that any IPTV streams or media files used with the App are lawful and licensed for your use;
  • We do not monitor or vet content accessed through the App and assume no responsibility for its origin, accuracy, or legality.

 

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable Swedish law, Bright Code AB, including its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, licensors, and service providers, shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes, without limitation, any loss of profits, loss of data, loss of use, business interruption, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App; any unauthorized access to or use of the App or its functionalities; any inaccuracies, errors, or omissions in third-party content (including data provided via the IMDb API); or your access to or use of illegal, infringing, or unlicensed content through the App.

11.1 Limitation of Total Liability

Subject to mandatory provisions of applicable law, our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or in connection with your use of the App shall in no event exceed the total amount you have paid to us, if any, for access to or use of the App during the six (6) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. To the extent that the exclusion or limitation of certain types of liability is not permitted under applicable law, such limitations shall apply only to the extent permitted.

 

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Birhgt Code AB], its affiliates, licensors, service providers, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal and accounting fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • Your access to or use of the App;
  • Your violation of these Terms;
  • Your use of the App to access, stream, or distribute any content that is unauthorized, infringing, illegal, or in violation of third-party rights;
  • Your misuse or unauthorized use of third-party services, including the IMDb API.

We reserve the right to assume exclusive control and defense of any matter subject to indemnification by you, and you agree to cooperate fully with us in asserting any available defenses.

 

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update, modify, or revise these Terms at any time, at our sole discretion. When changes are made, we will:

  • Update the “Last Updated” date at the top of the Terms;
  • Provide notice within the App, through the app stores, or via other reasonable means if the changes are material.

13.1 Continued Use as Acceptance

Your continued use of the App following the posting or notice of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App and, if applicable, cancel your subscription.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed about our current policies and your obligations.

 

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

14.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Halmstad Sweden, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.

14.2 Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any legal action, you agree to first contact us at info@safeiptvplayer.com to attempt to resolve the issue informally. Most disputes can be resolved quickly and amicably.

If a resolution cannot be reached informally, and unless prohibited by applicable law, you agree that:

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
Each party will bear its own legal fees, and arbitration will take place in Sweden.
You waive any right to participate in a class action or jury trial.

14.3 Local Consumer Rights

Nothing in this section is intended to limit your statutory rights under applicable local consumer protection laws. If you reside in the EU or another jurisdiction that prohibits mandatory arbitration or certain jurisdiction clauses, those local rights shall prevail.

 

15. Miscellaneous

15.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Bright Code AB concerning your use of the App and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written.

15.2 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver must be made in writing and signed by an authorized representative.

15.3 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may freely assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, or by operation of law.
