1. Introduction
This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“User” or “You”) and Bright Code AB (“we,” “us,” or “the Developer”), governing your use of the IPTV Player App (“the App”).
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or any other authorized platform, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
This Agreement grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App strictly in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth herein.
Please read this Agreement carefully before using the App. It also incorporates by reference our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle user data.
2. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, Bright Code AB grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- Download, install, and use the App on a compatible device that you own or control.
- Access and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with its intended functionality.
This license is granted solely for your use in accordance with the terms set forth in this Agreement and does not permit:
- Resale or distribution of the App to others.
- Use of the App on devices not owned or controlled by you.
- Circumvention of any licensing, subscription, or payment mechanisms embedded in the App.
- Any reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembly, or attempt to derive the source code of the App.
All rights not expressly granted to you under this Agreement are reserved by Bright Code AB and its licensors.
3. Subscription and Payment Terms
The App is offered on a subscription basis, available through authorized digital platforms such as the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or other supported app stores.
3.1 Subscription Models
You may choose from the available subscription options (e.g., monthly or yearly) offered on the platform where you downloaded the App. Subscription pricing and terms are clearly disclosed at the point of purchase.
3.2 Billing and Payment
All payments are processed through the respective app store’s billing system. We do not collect or store any billing or payment information directly. Your subscription will be charged to your account upon confirmation of purchase.
3.3 Auto-Renewal
Unless canceled by you, subscriptions will automatically renew at the end of each billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period at the rate specified in your selected plan.
3.4 Managing or Canceling Your Subscription
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your app store account settings. Uninstalling the App will not automatically cancel your subscription.
3.5 Refunds
All refunds must be requested directly through the platform where you made your purchase and are subject to the store’s refund policies. We do not issue refunds directly.
4. User Obligations and Restrictions
By using the App, you agree to the following obligations and restrictions:
4.1 Lawful Use
You may only use the App for lawful purposes and in accordance with all applicable local, national, or international laws and regulations. You are solely responsible for the content you choose to access via the App.
4.2 Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the App to stream, access, or distribute copyrighted or illegal content without proper authorization.
- Modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works of the App or any part thereof.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the App, including licensing and subscription mechanisms.
- Use the App in any manner that could interfere with, disrupt, or negatively affect other users’ access to or enjoyment of the App.
- Use the App to collect or harvest information about others, including personal data, without their consent.
4.3 Compliance Responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring that the IPTV content you load into the App (via M3U links, Xtream Codes, or similar) is obtained and used in compliance with relevant licensing and copyright laws. We do not provide or endorse any content, nor are we responsible for how you use third-party streaming sources.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
All rights, title, and interest in and to the App — including but not limited to its software, code, design, user interface, branding, and documentation — are and shall remain the exclusive property of Bright Code AB or its licensors.
This Agreement does not grant you any ownership rights in the App. The App is licensed to you, not sold.
You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the App.
- Use any trademarks, logos, or brand elements associated with the App without prior written consent.
- Claim ownership of or develop derivative works based on the App or its components.
All third-party trademarks or content accessed via the App (e.g., via APIs like IMDb) remain the property of their respective owners and are used solely for informational and display purposes under their respective terms.
6. Third-Party Services and Content
The App may provide access to or integrate with third-party services and content to enhance user experience. This includes, but is not limited to, metadata and images provided by the IMDb API.
6.1 Use of IMDb API
The App uses the IMDb API solely to display metadata about movies and television shows, such as titles, descriptions, and artwork. This information is provided for informational purposes only and remains the intellectual property of IMDb or its licensors.No personal user data is shared with IMDb.
We do not transmit any user data to IMDb or any other third-party service.
6.2 IPTV Content Responsibility
The App acts solely as a player. It does not provide, store, or promote any video content. You are solely responsible for the IPTV streams you load into the App and must ensure that any third-party content accessed is legally acquired and used.
6.3 No Liability for Third-Party Services
We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third-party services, content, or practices. Use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
7. Privacy Policy Reference
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy outlines:
- What minimal information we collect (e.g., M3U or Xtream Codes login, device ID).
- How we use and protect this data.
- Our commitment to privacy — we do not collect names, emails, passwords, or location data.
- How users can control or delete their data.
We encourage you to read the Privacy Policy carefully to understand how your information is handled.
By accepting this EULA, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the Privacy Policy.
8. Termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated by either you or Bright Code AB.
8.1 By You
You may terminate this Agreement at any time by uninstalling the App from your device and canceling any active subscriptions through your respective app store.
8.2 By Us
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App, with or without notice, if:
- You breach any term of this Agreement.
- We are required to do so by law or regulatory authority.
The App is discontinued or removed from the app stores.
Upon termination:
- Your license to use the App will be automatically revoked.
- You must immediately cease all use of the App and uninstall it from your device.
- Any locally stored data (such as links or credentials) will be deleted when the App is uninstalled.
Termination does not affect any accrued rights or obligations that existed prior to the effective date of termination.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
9.1 Disclaimers
The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Fitness for a particular purpose.
- Non-infringement.
- Accuracy or reliability of results.
- That the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors.
We do not guarantee that the App or any content accessed through it will meet your expectations or function without disruptions or loss of data.
9.2 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Bright Code AB, its affiliates, directors, employees, or licensors be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Any loss of data, revenue, profits, or use.
- Any unauthorized access to or use of your content.
- Any claims arising out of the use or inability to use the App.
This limitation applies whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise—even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you in full.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bright Code AB and its affiliates from all claims, losses, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your violation of this Agreement.
- Your misuse of the App.
- Your infringement or violation of any intellectual property or other rights of a third party.
- The content you choose to access or load into the App (e.g., IPTV streams).
We reserve the right, at your expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter for which you are required to indemnify us, and you agree to cooperate in such defense.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
11.1 Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
11.2 Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the use of the App, the parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at the email address provided in Section 13.
You waive the right to participate in any class action, class arbitration, or representative action against us.
Nothing in this section shall limit either party’s right to seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of law.
12. Changes to the Agreement
We reserve the right to update, modify, or replace this Agreement at any time at our sole discretion. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of the Agreement.
If the changes are material, we will provide notice through reasonable means, such as posting an in-app notice or updating the app store description.
Your continued use of the App following the posting of any revised terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you must stop using and uninstall the App.
We recommend reviewing this Agreement periodically to stay informed of your rights and obligations.
